Hello! My name is Billy White, and I have never been shy about my love for storytelling.
From a young age I was always immersed in fantastical world-building, creating a multitude of short stories, cartoon strips, and radio play scripts. Dreaming of one day being able to share these stories so that others could watch them on-screen, at ten years old I saved up for a bare-bones digital camera, taught myself Windows Movie Maker, and never looked back.
Many years later, that fire still burns. A multimedia freelancer, I began to see success turning my passion for filmmaking into real, adult work. With each job, positive word of mouth brought more and more projects my way until I realised I had to go all in and properly establish myself as a videographer. Thus, billy.media was born.
But this is far from the end of this story. With techniques and technologies always evolving paired with my adoration for the whole filmmaking process, my job requires constant adaptability! I would never have dreamed that I'd learn special effects, studio lighting, and drone operation, but knowing there will always be new surprises around the corner to elevate my work further with each new job keeps me whirring.
I'm beyond thrilled to have established billy.media, and cannot wait for everything the future holds! If you have any ideas for projects we can work on together, please don't hesitate to get in touch below.

The Logo
The concept for the logo originated in the nostalgic imagery of old video cameras and projectors. With the traditional film reels simplified into a modern aesthetic, the logo emphasises the timelessness of storytelling as a medium.
It also represents as an abstract rendition of some hills, reflecting the grounded, natural themes prevalent throughout my work, and my hometown of Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
Last but not least, turn it on its side... and you've got a B for Billy!
